About the event
Eating is a sensory experience of sight, sound, touch, smell, and taste. There is an intuition in each of us as to what our bodies need and crave. Connecting with the very landscape that we will be eating from, we will be discussing and learning about the energetics of color, medicinal properties of plants and wild weeds, and the importance of intention and gratitude when creating meals for ourselves and others. Using the information learned as inspiration, we will be creating and enjoying a shared meal together.
This workshop is for those looking to build a deeper connection with their relationship to land and food, be it tools for setting new eating intentions, finding new inspiration for cooking, or wanting to elevate their knowledge of the medicinal properties of plants. All supplies and tools will be provided, including cutting boards and chef knives. Please feel free to bring your own knife…
