Mobile Making with Plants from the Farm

Create a small, one-of-a-kind mobile using natural materials and simple elements.

In this workshop, participants work with twigs, seed pods, leaves, and other natural materials gathered from the farm, combining them with cotton thread, glass beads, and small laser-cut wooden pieces. Through a process of balancing, tying, and adjusting, each person will create a delicate hanging piece that responds to movement and air.

This is a relaxed and intuitive way of working — part observation, part composition — where small shifts in weight and placement bring the piece to life. All materials are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own natural elements if you’d like to include something personal in your mobile.
