Mobile Making with Plants from the Farm

Create a small, one-of-a-kind mobile using natural materials and simple elements.

In this workshop, participants work with twigs, seed pods, leaves, and other materials gathered from the farm, which they combine with cotton thread and glass beads. Through a process of balancing, tying, and adjusting, each person will create a delicate hanging piece that responds to movement and air.

This is a relaxed and intuitive way of working — part observation, part composition — where small shifts in weight and placement bring the piece to life.

All materials are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own natural elements if you’d like to include something personal in your mobile. This workshop is limited to 10 participants.

Participants must be 16 or older.

Open to beginners and experienced makers alike, with curiosity as the only requirement.
